A great hotel in the Black Forest, and the food is good too. It’s under new ownership, and the hardworking team is doing its best. We wish them well and will definitely visit again.

For €66, our one-night stay last week was perfectly fine. After a tiring hike, we wanted a shower, some food, and a decent bed, and we got all three. The room was clean, and the hot shower was clean too, with a soap dispenser and hairdryer. The restaurant food was perfectly acceptable for both price and taste. Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush. We skipped breakfast at €10 per person and ate at our favorite bakery in the well-known town of Forbach instead. My wife and I were happy with the stay. People who left bad reviews may have been unlucky or had different expectations. Critics, keep your feet on the ground and stop complaining so much, haha.
