The food was fantastic, from regional and homemade dishes to wild ramen from the Spessart region and Chateaubriand. The dining room is lovely, and the service was very friendly. We’d be glad to come back.

I’ve never had baba pudding before, but it looks great. I’ll bring my cactus along, that’ll be cool :).

The host even gave us a free ride to Flörsbach the next day, a lovely extra touch. We also enjoyed an excellent meal, and the bottled wine with it was fairly priced, even cheaper than the menu. We were a small hiking group and felt welcome right away. The greeting was warm, and the service stayed personal and very attentive despite a large event. We were also able to cancel one room on the day we arrived without any hassle. A warm, high-quality stay, highly recommended.
