Avani Frankfurt City Hotel

The breakfast spread was plentiful and nicely presented, and the coffee was good. I missed the bacon, fried eggs, and Bircher muesli I like to have in Germany, though. The breakfast staff were very friendly. The rooms are affordable, clean, and modern, and the location is okay, with the S-Bahn and U-Bahn about a five-minute walk away. There were drunk people, destitute people, and others who seemed shady nearby, so it may not be the best choice for women traveling alone.

We had to find somewhere at the last minute after flight cancellations in Europe, and this turned out to be a great place. The trains are very close, trams run nearby, and lots of shops and restaurants are easy to reach on foot. We got there early, at 10:30 a.m. Since we booked through Amex, they gave us a room that was available, which we really appreciated. We were able to sleep for several hours, and the hotel was so quiet. The windows did a great job keeping out street noise. Our room was spotless, with fluffy towels, dressing gowns, and slippers. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch. Just note that the bar is closed on Sundays. We highly recommend staying here.

Avani had a calm, welcoming feel, and the design was elegant without being too much. Getting around was easy, with the location convenient for transport and everyday activities. Breakfast was well organized with a good range of food, and service was efficient. My room was modern, very comfortable, and extremely clean. Reception staff were friendly and professional, and helped quickly whenever I needed anything. It was a smooth, enjoyable stay, and I’ll definitely choose Avani again.

The street was noisy on the weekend, and it disturbed our sleep. There are restaurants and bars nearby, but during the week we didn't hear any noise. Apart from that, the central location made it easy to reach the main attractions on foot or by subway. We stayed three nights with two children and the room worked very well for us, with plenty of space, an extra bed, and a king size bed. Everything was new, the mattresses were good, housekeeping was good, and we were comfortable. Everyone looked after us well, especially Aziz, who was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was complete and tasty. The restaurant also served us well, with a smaller menu but some good healthy options. Keep in mind it may be closed on Sundays. We had a very good stay with the kids and would definitely come back.
