The restaurant food deserves a special mention. Everything is made from scratch, and you can really taste it. Just excellent. The place itself is clean and has a quaint, nostalgic feel, and it's a lovely base for exploring the Black Forest. There's a great wellness area with at least four saunas, including a steam sauna, as well as a cold water bath. Breakfast offers a wide selection, and they'll fry eggs when you ask. Staff are kind and helpful. I had a lovely chat with the woman looking after the geraniums outside. One useful detail: even with checkout at 11:00, you can still use the spa for the rest of the day. It's a lovely place for families too.

That massage was wonderful, and we loved having a little afternoon buffet in the wellness area. The grounds are kept immaculate, and the staff are so helpful and friendly. There are even eight kinds of pillows to choose from so you can get comfortable. The food was outstanding, and everything seems thought through around what guests might need. I could keep listing things. We’ll definitely be back. A great place to recharge if you need a break.

The meals and the guys were especially good, really top-notch. It also works very well for a family break, with easy hikes and wellness facilities, and being close to Europapark is a big bonus. Everything else was very good too.

A lovely spot in the Black Forest, with a great spa that has saunas and massages. Breakfast has an astonishing range, and the staff are friendly. Between the luxury, service and food, it was just right for a relaxing getaway.

Our first-choice hotel was full, so we asked for another suggestion and were fortunately sent to Hotel Ludinmühle. From the start we felt thoroughly looked after. The food was plentiful and varied, the spa areas roomy, and the rooms spotless. The team were both professional and friendly, and happy to go the extra mile. The decor has a traditional Black Forest feel.
