I used to come down to eat all the time. The people are wonderful, the food is fantastic, and it's a great place with a lovely atmosphere.

We weren't staying here, but stopped for dinner on a Tuesday when lots of other places were closed. Both the food and service were excellent, and the meals were reasonably priced. It's an authentic, family owned German neighborhood restaurant, with a Croatian connection that adds some variety to the menu. If you're nearby, give it a try.

The restaurant and pub are excellent, and the price for the room was a really good deal. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, with free parking and wifi. They're across the courtyard, so it's quiet. There's no breakfast or kettle in the room, but amenities are close by. Buses and shops are nearby too, in a quiet neighborhood. The church bell is the only noise, and since its clock chimes every 15 minutes, you'll hear it regularly. If there were a kettle, I'd give it five stars, though most people probably don't need one.

We came as a group, and everyone else was happy with the visit too. I can recommend it as a Biergarten, though I haven't eaten inside. Portions are generous, prices affordable, and the food is good quality. It wasn't crowded, and the service was reasonably quick.

The food is generally decent, even good, but I don't feel it justifies the higher prices. The staff also aren't very hospitable.
