Isar Hotel

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the hotel and rooms could use some updating. It’s a family-run place, an easy walk from Freising train station or a simple bus ride away, with the bus stop across the street. If you like swimming, Fresch public swimming pool and sauna are also an easy walk.

The receptionist was attentive and helpful, and the room was spotless and lovely. The hotel is conveniently close to both the city and airport. Be sure to try the Vietnamese restaurant attached to it.

The breakfast stood out, better than what I’ve had at most larger hotel chains. The Isar Hotel feels welcoming and family-run, and the staff were kind and helpful. They even lent me a phone charger for a few hours, a thoughtful gesture. My room was clean and well kept, with everything I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It wasn’t luxurious, but the value was great. I’d happily come back and recommend it. I noticed the review text also calls it “Issr Hotel.”

We spent five nights at Isar Hotel and were really impressed. The staff were incredibly supportive, the rooms very clean, and breakfast excellent. We’ve stayed in our share of good and bad hotels, and if we return to Munich, this is where we’ll be staying.
