The setting is pleasant, and it’s nice to sit down for a drink in the evening. But the room was in a sorry state. There were ashes left by the previous smoker in my bin, a heavy old duvet, a chair I couldn’t use, and discarded latex gloves in the hallway. I didn’t even take photos; it was too depressing. I can accept worn furniture and no TV at this price. Cleanliness should still come first, and it didn’t. Used furniture could be brought in gradually, but leaving things as they are makes it seem like the place has been given up on.

It was clean, small, and comfortable. There wasn’t a TV, but Sabrina and Helena looked after us so warmly. They were just lovely.

The friendly service was the best part of our coffee stop. Freudenberg felt pretty dreary that day, and the café itself was just ordinary, with nothing especially good or bad about it.

The ladies were kind and patient, and they took great care of all 21 guests. Many thanks!

They were so lovely with us, and both the ice cream and coffee were really good 🤗
