We were stressed after missing our train to Berlin, but were so glad to spend the night at Hotel Unstruttal. The place is beautiful, and we had wine on the patio to unwind. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, breakfast was tasty, and the owners were very kind and accommodating.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Unstruttal. The managers are friendly, know the area well, and speak English. Our room was lovely, and breakfast was included with everything you’d want. We also enjoyed delicious dinners featuring local specialties. It’s a gem!

The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine was delicious. My extra-rare lamb was tender and tasty, and the homemade sorbet was delicious too. Everything else was top notch.

The food was very good. Some menu alternatives weren’t available, but we still had a great dinner with an excellent red wine, Cabernet Dorsa from Bad Sulza.

We were turned away rudely even though several tables were free. The woman running the place seemed too busy to take our business, and the chef didn’t even manage a “good evening” when he saw us. We won’t try again.
