We spent a lovely, relaxing and active break in the Bavarian Forest, with the apartment giving us a peaceful base for hikes and trips nearby. It’s also only a five-minute walk to the local shop, which made it easy to pick up fresh groceries for cooking. For bigger shops, Freyung has supermarkets and a dm drugstore, about a three-minute drive away. There was plenty of room for us as two couples, thanks to the two separate bedrooms and extra toilet. The apartment is spacious, with large rooms and a huge bathroom. It has a shower, bathtub, toilet, two sinks, and a washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped, and the big sofa in the living room is a comfortable place to sit and read. We also enjoyed spending evenings playing the many board games. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and were glad to share tips for things to do in the area. We’d definitely come back.
