Never again. The landlord couple were incredibly rude and hung up on the phone. They simply tried to keep 400 euros of our deposit, and getting it back meant pursuing various legal steps for months. Even one star feels too generous. Stay away!

Our stay was refused because the landlord said 14 people would be too noisy across 3 apartments. They should think beforehand about whether the accommodation they offer suits that many people. His manner was also very unfriendly. I can't recommend this place.

The landlord's priorities seem to put profit first, with guests' needs and friendliness at the bottom. We paid 1000€ for three nights, yet even basic use of things cost extra: towels were 4€, each use of the vacuum cleaner was 1€, and using the washing machine also cost extra. We weren't given the WLAN key because the landlords weren't there, and the television didn't work. On arrival day, we couldn't reach the landlords despite calling several times. Their parents handed over the apartment instead, but understood very little German, which led to misunderstandings. We got no receipt for the deposit. The response was, "you'll get it back anyway!" The new-build apartment was sparsely and carelessly furnished. Four outdoor cameras covered the outside, including the terrace, so we constantly felt watched. Many light switches wouldn't turn on, and some lamps hadn't been installed. A booked bed turned out to be a bed drawer with a mattress in it. The terrace cushions were covered in cigarette burns, and the free cot was so unstable that no child could sleep in it. Cleanliness was poor. There was hair and dust fluff throughout the apartment, and cigarette butts all over the terrace. It wasn't up to this price level. On the second day we met the hot-tempered landlord. Instead of saying hello, he immediately accused us of leaving the cigarette butts, although we were all non-smokers. He also said we'd bent a parasol stand, even though the bend was already badly rusted, and complained we'd been too loud the night before. Nobody had said anything that evening, so we couldn't have known we were being too loud. He also insists on using "du" instead of the formal "Sie". Given his vulgar way of speaking, that was almost beside the point. Rain dampened the four terrace cushions before departure, but we dried them completely. They had polyester covers with foam inside. The landlord still kept 40€ from the deposit, saying he could never use the cushions again. They were otherwise undamaged, apart from the burn holes that were already there when we arrived, and had no residue on them.

The landlord was incredibly disrespectful and unfriendly. He wouldn't let us into the apartments before he had even arrived. He also secretly filmed guests from inside the apartments. I wouldn't recommend this place.
