Ferienwohnung Finke 2

It’s a nice apartment in general, but a number of things need attention. The large terrace needs cleaning and preparation, the entrance door drags on the floor, and there’s a strong smell in the small bathroom. The freezer door and sink don’t seal properly. The garage door won’t stay open or lock, which is concerning with e-bikes stored inside.

The apartment itself is fantastic and has everything you could want. The big uncovered terrace is away from traffic, but there’s so much weed growing there that it looks like my own garden at home. The covered balcony is lovely and would be great for breakfast, except for all the cars passing by.

The noise around the apartment was hard to get used to. Heavy trucks passed on the B31 until late in the evening, just 20 meters from the front loggia, and the train line, only 10 meters from the rear bedroom, starts running at 5:00 AM. The kitchen looks modern, with Janie Oliver pots for a large family, a gas stove, and an illuminated kettle, but it lacks basic things like a potato peeler, corkscrew, small saucepan for boiling eggs, teapot, and coffee pot. Since we spent most of our time out, we could overlook that. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, but we won’t be coming back.

The lake is nearby, and there’s a bakery and shops around the corner along with plenty of restaurants. The apartments are beautiful and spacious, with real flair and charm. Very nice.
