Haus Josefine was a lovely place for a Lake Constance holiday, and we’d happily return. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen for cooking, though it wasn’t ultra-modern. It felt very cozy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating: they lent us an air pump when ours broke, brought fresh fruit, and shared lots of useful travel tips. The location near the lake was fantastic.

We’ve come back to this lovely holiday apartment several times and always feel at home. It’s well equipped, and we haven’t been missing anything. My daughters love it too, and each time they’ve enjoyed walking to the bakery in the morning or biking across the schoolyard.

There’s a nice little garden with a pond behind the house, and the location makes it quick to get to the lake. The shopping center is about a five-minute walk away. It can be a little noisy, but that’s still acceptable. The host was very nice and even brought us fresh vegetables. The apartment is bright, clean and spacious, with a good layout, though not the most modern. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works. A very nice vacation rental.

The service and treatment were poor, and we weren’t allowed to use the kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. One star is already too generous.
