Hotel Hellers Twenty Four 2

My room was clean, but paper was peeling off the wall, and the hotel seems past its best. Reception closed at 20:00, so it definitely wasn't open around the clock as the booking site says. The receptionist was very unfriendly and told me all the restaurants in a town near lake Konstanz were closed on Sunday. That obviously wasn't true.

We found a good place to park our motorbikes, and the staff were very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. We'd gladly stay again.

I was warmly welcomed for my one-night stay. The room was large, with a nice balcony, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. Coffee and croissants are included, but anything else costs extra and comes from a vending machine. There is plenty of parking, and for the area it's good value. I'd happily stay again.

Room 161 may be different from the standard rooms. It was large and comfortable, with a roomy, comfortable balcony. The internet was very fast and easy to use, the kitchen was well equipped with enough cutlery, and the fridge worked, though it wasn't very cold. It was a very quiet place to sleep, with a Greek restaurant as another option nearby. The receptionist was kind and helpful. I forgot my jacket at checkout, and she kindly posted it to my home address. There was plenty of spacious parking too. The self-check-in process wasn't explained clearly beforehand and took up time when we were already tired. The coffee machine didn't work, and although the bath was good, the warm setting was hard to adjust and a little too hot.
