Stadthaus Seeblick G5 - Hostel

I can't recommend staying at this HOSTEL. I travel a lot and come from Georgia, a very hospitable country. I try to write positively about places I've stayed and always leave a tip when I can, because I respect people's work and effort. This time, I arrived at night hoping for hospitality. I checked in on April 9th, and an elderly man welcomed me, gave me the instructions, and I thanked him before settling into my attic room. Things were fine until 11:02 the next morning, when someone knocked on my bathroom door and told me to leave. Check-out was between 11 and 12. My room had been booked by mistake through April 12th, though I had planned to leave on the 13th. The person who came to the door was a young, nondescript man, who I think was the owner's son. When I asked why he was knocking, he said my time was up and the room needed cleaning. While I tried to work out what had gone wrong, which turned out to be my mistake when booking, he said I had 20 minutes to get out. He was very inhospitable. I offered to pay for another night, but he flatly refused, saying there were no vacancies, even though I saw half the rooms were empty. I packed quickly and went to the shared kitchen so I wouldn't get in the way of the person cleaning. As soon as I sat down to eat the groceries I'd bought, he told me I couldn't have breakfast there anymore and had to leave the hotel. I'd shown him nothing but positive feelings. I was so surprised and upset that I left all my breakfast on the table and quickly left. I'd lost any desire to stay in that negative place. He's a very negative person, a real brute, and wouldn't even let me eat breakfast! Why would anyone choose to stay there after that? People like him damage the reputation of honest and decent small hotel owners. Shame on him!
