It was okay.

Getting around was easy: Rewe, Edeka, a butcher, and restaurants are all within walking distance, and the bus stop is about 100 meters away, with routes toward the peninsula tip, Marne, and Heide. We stayed six nights in Apartment 1. The key box code came by email, and the key needs to go back in the box when you leave. The window screens were a nice touch, though the screen door was broken. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature. The coffee machine in the anteroom wasn't working. The apartment seems to have had some renovation, but the bathroom could use updating; some of the bathrooms do seem to have already been renovated. We talked through our concerns by phone. I swam laps in the spacious pool every morning, and the Finnish sauna was a good fit for two. Sauna aromas are provided free of charge, and using both the pool and sauna is included in the price. We stayed for two weeks and felt very comfortable. The new owners are lovely, and the updated hallway decor gives the stairwell more character and looks much more tasteful than it did under the previous owner. There's plenty of parking for cars and bicycles, so the building works well for people who like cycling.

The wellness area was a lovely place to unwind, and the whole complex felt carefully looked after and clean. The apartments are neat and well maintained too, so it was easy to feel at home. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.
