A really relaxing North Sea location, with a green beach and a modern, barrier-free beach access. There are seating steps and walkways leading into the Wadden Sea. Behind the dike, there's also a newly built play and leisure park, Trieschenpark.
We were there in wind and rain, but who cared? It was wonderful to feel the wind in our hair again. Such a beautiful landscape.
We've visited Friedrichskoog Spitze several times and always enjoy it. The Lauritzen family rents holiday homes there and has always been friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return.
A lovely spot for a walk. I'd be glad to come back.
We happened to visit during the dike construction, so we couldn't go straight to the site. Apart from that, it was great: people were helpful, there was parking, and the circular trail was lovely, with lots of information about nature and animals.
