We had plenty of room for two parents, three children, and a dog, and the apartment is fully furnished, so we didn't need to bring much. When we emailed about Wi-Fi trouble, they called right away. It's a fantastic vacation apartment and I can highly recommend it. It still deserves 5 stars. The one drawback is getting onto the dike with a dog. Although the apartment is right behind it, you have to walk for miles to reach the dike itself. About a kilometer away, there's a gate leading up to it that's run by the shepherd, but it has a chain and lock, so you can't pass. Our dog is large, so carrying him over the fence wasn't an option. It is possible with a small dog right by the house. I'd like to see people with dogs allowed through that gate.

The Deichgraf 2 apartment was very clean and well maintained, and the price felt excellent for what we got. I felt completely at ease and spent a wonderful week there. I'd love to come back. It exceeded my expectations: a spacious living room with a flat-screen TV and reliable internet, a large accessible bathroom with a shower, an extra toilet, a well-equipped bedroom, and a children's room with two bunk beds. The roomy hallway added to the open feel, and parking is right in front of the house. Outside, the terrace has a beach chair for relaxing, and the lawn next to it is great for badminton or bocce. The holiday home "Deichgraf" in Kaiserin-Auguste-Viktoria-Koog is almost in the middle of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, which stretches about 500 km from Den Helder in the Netherlands along the German North Sea coast to Skallingen in Denmark. It's a great base for exploring. The dike is practically outside the door, with access about 1,000 meters away. You can easily cycle to Büsum, Friedrichskoog, or farther along the coast. P.S.
