The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, and the beer garden was a nice spot to unwind. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Check-in is at 5pm, exactly as stated when booking, so don’t expect to get in earlier. I’d definitely stay again.

The views of the river Lech and the location make this place worth the money and the experience. We only ate here, and the food was excellent, though not cheap. It’s a lovely spot and a big improvement from when we last visited many years ago.

The atmosphere felt like the Bavarian countryside, and the service was pleasant. The food was okay.

The portions were big, the service was great, and the food tasted excellent, though it was expensive. It was salty and savory, as Germans eat saltier than others. Goulasch cost 21 €, and Geschnetzeltes Zurich was 17.5€.

The food was so good, and we loved sitting in the yard overlooking the lake. The Americans with us said they’d never seen a burger as big as the one served here.
