Hüblers-schlafquartier

The kitchen was appalling: dirty dishes in the sink, used pots left on the stove, and a filthy cooker. I’ve never encountered anything like it. We were also told we’d have a triple room with a private bathroom, but the bathroom was shared instead. As someone who travels a lot and stays in German guesthouses, I find that unacceptable by today’s standards. I can’t recommend this place at all, and I’ve let the local tourism association know about the experience.

We slept really well over our two nights, and the accommodation met all our expectations. It’s cozy and clean, with practical, very clean restrooms, and the landlady gave us a warm welcome. There are good places to eat nearby, so we’re happy to recommend staying here.

In the evening we sat in the naturally landscaped garden with Mrs. Hübler and enjoyed some interesting conversation. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return if we’re in Fürstenwalde again. The bathroom was beautiful and newly renovated, and everything was very clean. Some renovation work was underway, including in the guest kitchen, so we followed our hostess’s suggestion and had a lovely breakfast in the town center.

The hostess was warm and did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. Our family of seven, with two children, spent a weekend here and would love to return. The rooms were clean and roomy enough for all of us, and breakfast was generous with plenty of variety. The accommodation has a lot of character and charming furnishings. There were a few small imperfections, but the service was impeccable.
