The view from our second-floor room, looking out over the mountains and lake, was breathtaking, and the balcony was lovely for watching the sunset. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The owner was very organized and sent clear instructions for getting into the room, no matter when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from, including fresh scrambled eggs and sausages. We only stayed one night while visiting the nearby castles, but this was the highlight of our week in Bavaria. We’ll definitely come back and spend longer.

I liked the hotel overall and would stay again if I’m back in that area. The rooms were spacious and nice, and the balcony view was breathtaking. Parking was on an already tight street. There’s no AC, so when we opened the windows, insects got in. Also, the plastic section of the shower door didn’t keep the water in. Each shower left water across the bathroom floor, which was a bit of a slipping hazard.

The balcony was a nice place to enjoy the beautiful lake view with a coffee, and I had a good time here. I did see small cockroaches in my room, though, so I took off a star. The hotel is in a beautiful spot next to the lake.

Self check-in worked well, and there’s parking with a charging station too. We had a clean, very nice room on the ground floor, though it didn’t have a lake view. The small sauna is in the basement and guests operate it themselves, but it does the job.

Breakfast was a treat, with everything from cereal and bread to cheese and ham, plus fresh coffee and a lovely welcome in the morning. Our clean, beautiful room had a balcony overlooking the mountains and a big bathroom. Since dinner isn’t served at the hotel, we walked down to the lakeside and strolled back enjoying the views. The owner was so hospitable. We’d return in a heartbeat after such a relaxing couple of days.
