We really enjoyed the food. The restaurant has a good lunch and evening menu, including a vegan option, and everything we ate was excellent. Downstairs in the second building there's a beer Keller where they brew their own beer, which was very good too. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast had a nice range of hot and cold options. Our bed was very comfortable. The hotel is spread across two buildings, so you may need to walk about 15m outside to reach the restaurant in the building without reception. There's a lift in that second building. Parking at the hotel is very limited, though public parking is close by. The roads around it are one-way. It's on the edge of the old town, and the Christmas market is only 350m away if you're visiting in December.

We had a nice stay, and the large, clean rooms and polite staff were good points. The staff speak English, breakfast was very nice, and there's a garage under the hotel. We had two rooms. One had a very small double bed, and my boy, who's 176, had to lie diagonally. The other room had three good-sized single beds, so the other three of us were happy there. Noise could be an issue: the sound insulation is poor, and you can hear traffic and people talking outside. Our room faced a popular Pub, and on Saturday evening we could hear people partying. It wasn't really a problem for us, but if you're not too fussy about noise, you'll love the hotel. The town centre location is practical if you have things to do there.

Our family room had loads of space, including a large sitting room. The free minibar and coffee machine in the room were handy. Breakfast was busy, but the staff were still really helpful and even made hot chocolate for my kids. The hotel is in a great spot in the old city.

The location is hard to beat in Fulda. Walk 100 meters straight out of the hotel and you're in the city, or turn left and go 100 meters to reach the old part. My room was a little above the standard I'd expect from a 3 star hotel. The service was hard to judge since I just needed to pick up my key. I was running about 15 min. late for check in, and they called, which I didn't like much. Still, the experience was good.

We were pleasantly surprised by this boutique hotel on our road trip. The room was very spacious, the staff helpful, and the hotel sits perfectly in this charming little city. Breakfast with local products was lovely, and we had a short walk around town before getting back on the road. The price was very reasonable compared with the big cities where we stayed. A few small snags: getting into the underground car park was a bit DIY and tricky at night when reception wasn't open. The minibar was empty, and the restaurant and bar close quite early. They'd explained everything, including the special night check-in procedure so we could plan dinner on the road, but it still took us 30mins to figure it all out.
