Boardinghouse Bodensee

The apartments felt like home, with lovely furnishings, and the service was kind and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied. We'll definitely return.

The gallery apartment in the boarding house was clean, practical, and well designed for our two children, aged 5 and 10, and us. We stayed two nights. Radolfzell is only a few minutes away, while Konstanz, Reichenau, and Mainau are around half an hour away. The setting was quiet and very convenient. I went to Hotel Hirschen to collect the keys and check in. The hotel looked beautiful, in an idyllic spot, and had a lovely spa area. The staff seemed competent and welcoming, and the owners were very friendly.

A top room, with stylish furnishings and thoughtful details throughout.

The rooms look modern and tasteful, with high-quality materials, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But there was no real privacy. It felt like sitting in a shop window unless we pulled the heavy blackout curtains, which blocked all the natural light. Parking was the main problem and brought my rating down. There weren't enough spaces, and they didn't work well for larger vehicles or cars carrying bikes on the back. Parking beyond the grounds meant going some distance away to a very isolated spot beside a sports field, which left me concerned about security.
