The room was quiet and clean, and it looked modern. Breakfast was okay, while the spa and pools were really nice, though they need maintenance and repairs. The parking lot is huge and open, with no gate or security, and has six EV charging outlets. That's where the positives end. You need a car to reach this hotel, yet parking costs €6.50. That should be included with the room. We booked for two adults and a child, then paid another €20 for a tiny floor mattress that our seven year old barely fit on. It wasn't a proper bed like the photo suggested. The hotel was empty, and they could have put us in a larger room for a rollaway bed. They had also changed our room for this, after preparing a cot even though we'd called to clarify his age. During checkout they said they "cannot compensate" us for the problem, and later repeated that by email. Not a great way to handle it. Our room had no phone to call reception, so we had to walk back there for service. Hard to accept at a four star hotel. Come prepared, but the rooms are quiet and the spa is cool.

The breakfast was okay, and I didn't try the spa or restaurant, so I can't comment on those. The shower, though, was the worst I've had. I was on the fifth floor and could never get the water temperature to stay steady. For a spa hotel that's disappointing, though it was just about usable. The room was old, with lots of fixtures that weren't fixed very well. I left it at 1pm, used it, and am pretty sure it wasn't cleaned for the next guest. The room had officially been cancelled, which caused some trouble with my job, but that's another matter. I wasn't welcomed particularly well, though it wasn't awful either. I was wearing work clothes, which may not have helped, but that shouldn't matter in my view. There was no French speaking staff member. Asking for an invoice didn't help my impression of the service, especially the tone that suggested they knew better than me. Breakfast wasn't bad. For the price, I expected more. If it were cheaper, I'd give it another star. German speakers who look rich might get better service too.

Having parking on site made my commute easy, and the room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The staff were great from the moment I arrived, with warm smiles and a real willingness to help. Breakfast had plenty of choices for different tastes, and the food was better than I expected. For a business class room, I was surprised there was no water or coffee maker. An iron was missing too, and when I asked at reception, I found out it costs €15 per day to use one. That felt like an unnecessary extra, especially for business guests who need pressed clothes.

We kept coming back for business trips after the first visit, and no other hotel even came up as an option. One time, the receptionist even gave me a cake for my birthday. We always enjoy staying here.

The spa with its two pools was great, and that's a big reason I'd recommend the hotel. Breakfast was average. The "class first business" room can vary depending on where you are in the building. Mine was very small and old, with no air conditioning. There was an extra door connecting to the suite next door, and I could hear people as if they were in my room. The handle worked too, which felt creepy. My friend paid the same and got a completely different room on those points, and he was satisfied.
