Hotel Restaurant Bullerdieck

I’m glad I stayed here instead of getting a hotel in Hannover. I’d booked for myself and my son decided to join at the last minute. Hotels.com wouldn’t let me change the booking, but the hotel said it was no problem when I called. They did let me know the desk was staffed only until 21:00. The parking area has quite a few spaces, though a wedding had filled them up. There was one spot for electric cars, but I left it free since my car was already fully charged. Check-in seemed to involve a few unnecessary steps, but the woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were both spacious and clean. It was warm after a full day at 24 degrees Celsius, and there was no air conditioning. Opening the windows helped a lot. The beds felt quite hard at first, but my back felt great the next day, so they must be good quality. We ate in the outdoor restaurant. The man taking my order understood me perfectly despite my so-so German. I recommend the Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln, especially with the delicious mushroom sauce. My son usually doesn’t like mushrooms, but after trying one he ended up putting the whole bowl on his plate. Breakfast was really good, both the quality and the selection, and we could eat outside in another garden. The staff there were friendly and helpful too.
