Apartment 3 turned out to be Apartment 3, even though we booked apartment 2. It was in the basement with virtually no daylight, and while the decor tried to look expensive, with leather and gold, it felt like what I'd guess is an Arabic taste. The floor heating was very slow. The kitchen had no sink or cooking surface, and the hot water supply was limited. Our beds hadn't been made even though we'd paid for that, so I don't want to know how many people had slept in them without the linen being changed. Service wasn't accommodating. Hours were strictly enforced, so we couldn't drop our bags early, not even five minutes after the cutoff, and calls weren't answered during that period either. The luggage drop-off and the place to pick up public transport tickets, which are paid for through the city tax, were both a few blocks away.

This was a complete disaster. After COVID cancelled our booking, I agreed to take a voucher worth over 700 EUR. When I tried to use it after COVID, nobody answered the phone or the door. I never expected to be scammed in Germany. It felt completely unprofessional, like robbery and exploitation of people's money.

We left after just one night because the beds and pillows in Apartment 4 were so bad. The attached picture shows one example of the multiple beds and their condition. In May, the price was 235 euros, plus 10 euros per person for linen, which they tried to explain by citing COVID.

Apartment number 1 is on the top floor and close to the city center. The rest of the apartment was nice, although the bedrooms were only average and usually better than this. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a single bed, and the other with three single beds. The place was well-maintained and had a beautiful view. There was no Wi-Fi, but free parking was provided. They took a security deposit and returned it as soon as we checked out.

The apartment was pleasant and in a quiet spot near the elevator. It was very cold inside, with no hot water in the shower and no working heating, which wasn't acceptable with temperatures below zero outside. The kitchen could use better equipment too, since several basic items were missing.
