The apartment was modern, organized, and right in the center of Garmisch, so everything was close and walkable. Check-in went smoothly. The price is above average, but generally we had a great stay.

Because of a traffic jam, we couldn't reach the property by check-in time, but we called many times and explained what was happening. The host still refused to allow self check-in or leave a key for us. They canceled the booking and kept the fee, leaving us searching for somewhere to stay in Garmisch at 2 a.m. We finally found a place nearly at 4 a.m. Imagine how desperate we felt. The host was very impolite and unhelpful, and left us out on the street.

It was very nice and clean, and I preferred it to hotels. Since it's a family-run apartment, though, the experience can sometimes be frustrating. Dealing with the owners doesn't feel as professional as dealing with highly trained hotel staff.

A great location, about seven minutes from the city center. The apartment has a modern kitchen with everything needed, heated floors that are a lifesaver, and drying racks for ski gear. There are two bathrooms, one large one with a toilet and another separate bathroom. The living room has a sofa and a big dining table. Of the two bedrooms, one is large with windows and the smaller one has none.
