The beds in Pannier House 2 are 140 cm wide, which we hadn't realized, so our sheets didn't fit. Mr. Pannier kindly arranged a suitable one for us. We stayed a week and found the house cozy, very welcoming to dogs, and stocked with everything we needed.

The lake is lovely, and the town itself is a nice little place on the Elbe. You can find shops, restaurants, and petrol stations, though public transport is abysmal. That's down to the politicians rather than the town. There's room for improvement, but nothing major to complain about.

The holiday home in village 6, house 3 is really well furnished, with a TV, fireplace, barbecue, and everything else we needed. There's no Wi-Fi, which was fine since we wanted to switch off. The area is fantastic for relaxing, with the water park and thermal baths within walking distance. It's in the border region of four countries. Highly recommended!!
