Parking was easy, with plenty of space, and the room itself was huge. It had a TV we didn’t use, a cabinet, a heater that wasn’t working, and three beds. The mattresses sagged, though, and the blankets were too small and thin for the cold. I ended up using the spare bed’s blanket to keep warm. The cozy, two-story log-cabin style has reception, the dining room, and kitchen downstairs. Once dinner was cooking, the smell spread upstairs even with the windows and doors shut. It felt like eating alongside the guests below. The bathroom light was so dim that I had to use the mirror outside to do my makeup. It’s about 6 km from Marktplatz, around a 10-minute drive, and handy if you have a car. I’d mistakenly thought it was right by the city gate, so we had to drive back after arriving. Good value, but it isn’t in the old town. The stay was average, cozy, but with a few comfort issues.

We woke to birds singing and chirping, which was lovely. The host was very friendly, and there was lots of room to park. We stayed one night while visiting Rothenburg. The town is about 6 km away. Our room was really big and extremely clean, and we loved it.

The coffee was the best we’ve tasted, and dinner was delicious. Even though the hosts were fully booked, they still accommodated us. They welcomed us so warmly and were incredibly friendly, making us feel like cherished guests in their home. I highly recommend staying here!

There wasn’t much to see nearby, but it was perfect for an evening stop before carrying on. The place was quiet, and parking was available during our stay. Rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, with kind staff and a restaurant serving good food, including pancake soup.

There’s a kettle in each room with the supplies for making tea, plus a table and a few chairs. The decor is tasteful, and the rooms are clean and well managed. Beds were comfortable, and each room had a flat screen TV, so bring an HDMI cable if you want to use it. The bathrooms were modern and clean too.
