The best part was all the little touches, like flowers and a candle on the breakfast table and the cozy fireplace in the entrance hall. Breakfast was fantastic too. The hotel is modern, very clean, and has everything you really need, with excellent service. The owner was so friendly and gave us helpful tips for day trips. We had a great stay at this little hotel close to Bamberg. Geisfeld and the whole area are lovely and definitely worth a visit. Germany is all about the small places! We’ll be back for sure!

Breakfast was the standout for us. We stayed two nights at this wonderful place, in a large, very clean, quiet ground-floor room with a really comfortable bed. The village where Luisenhof is located is 9km from the wonderful city of Bamberg. Our experience was very positive.

We stayed as a group of 12 and had the whole house to ourselves, with 6 double rooms. It was very well equipped, solidly built, and clean and well maintained throughout. The hostess was friendly, and breakfast was good. Bamberg is a short trip away. I took off one star for the location, since there’s no parking at the property and it’s right on the main road.

The hostess was friendly and helpful, and there’s a place to store bicycles. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including fresh pineapple. Our room was pleasant, and the guesthouse was clean and near Bamberg. Air conditioning is available too. We’d be happy to return.

The hostess made us feel truly welcome, and the breakfast buffet was very appealing. The rooms were modern and very clean. The guesthouse is ideally located for exploring Franconian Switzerland and visiting Bamberg, which is what we wanted to do. We'd love to come back.
