From booking through departure, we had a wonderful holiday in Gengenbach. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, everything worked, and the dishwasher made things easy. The washing machine and dryer were handy too, and when we had questions, including about the washing machine, we got help straight away.

We rented two apartments for Easter weekend and found them cute and simple, right in the center, so it was easy to head out for a walk around town. The upstairs one had a lovely terrace facing the square, though the rain meant we couldn't enjoy it much. Inside, the rooms warmed up quickly and stayed warm, thanks to the adjustable radiators. The kitchens had everything needed to cook, and there were restaurants nearby for different tastes. We liked the place right across the street too, the food was very good. Collecting the keys from the safe by the entrance made it easy to arrive or leave whenever we wanted. Parking was the one snag: we couldn't find the indicated spot, the covered car park was closed, and the little paid square in front never had room.

Right in the historic center, this was a lovely apartment. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable.
