Schloss Eberstein

We found Schlosh Eberstein Castle and Hotel by chance while passing through, after booking at the last minute in the late afternoon. What a lovely surprise. It's set high above a valley and a few small towns, right along our route. Our room was spacious and looked out over the valley, with plenty of parking around the property. The famous Biden Biden area is only 12 km away. Breakfast was included and amazing. We ate in the “palatial” Mirror room, where I could happily have spent the whole morning. The staff and Management were friendly and helpful, and we felt at ease. With several restaurant options on the property, including top-class dining from a Michelin rated chef, it was a perfect place to relax for a few days before moving on. If you're nearby and looking for something special, this is it.

It was our first visit to Germany, and this hotel made it magical. We loved the location up on the hill and the romantic outdoor dining, with that view. Thanks for such a lovely stay. I'm sorry this review is so late. I've shared some photos we took, and hope you like them.

Beautiful wherever you look, with such friendly, fantastic service. They speak English really well, too. Dinner at the hotel was amazing and reasonably priced, and breakfast had loads of options. Very fair prices overall.
