We’ve stayed at the Freddy holiday home three times now and would happily come back again. On our August family trip, we found it spacious, tidy, and comfortably furnished in a modern style. It’s in a really convenient spot, and we had a lovely, relaxing stay.

There’s loads of room outside, including a big garden and even a sauna. The house had everything we needed, and we found it beautiful and comfortable in its quiet setting. We spent our family holiday cycling to Cape Arkona and Königsstuhl, or heading to the beach at Glowe or Juliusruh. We’re already planning to return next year.

The house itself is modern and has everything you need, but the final cleaning was seriously lacking. There was hair from the previous guests in the bed, the kitchen floor felt sticky, and there was glass in the garden. The grill and bathroom sinks were dirty, and the dust was so bad I don’t even want to get into it. It could be a great place if someone cleaned it properly.

The garden is huge, which is great, but the living room feels too small for playing with little kids.

The missing fly screens on the doors and the cleanliness, which only gets three stars from me, took away from what would otherwise have been a perfect holiday. The house has great amenities, though.
