With a dog, we wouldn't stay here again. We had to leave him at the accommodation one morning because of an early appointment, and he barked a lot in the unfamiliar place. On the way back, the owner called to say she was outside an animal shelter with our dog because he'd been barking in the apartment while we were away. We cut our vacation short straight away. She also expected us to leave the apartment as clean as we found it. That was fine, but we were still meant to pay €50 for final cleaning. Why? It seems like the cleaning staff have very little to do. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone vacationing with a dog, especially with all the cat figurines and pictures around the apartment.

The apartment has a lovely marina view and looks very stylish, but my dog and I never really felt at ease. Maybe it was the odd welcome from Ms. Poock, maybe it was the yellow, or more likely, the décor looked better than it worked. For instance, the glasses couldn't go in the dishwasher and the sink wouldn't close. Ms. Poock said she'd sort those things out, but a week later we left without hearing from her. Such a shame, because the apartment has potential. Lots of show, not much substance.

We had a relaxing week and felt at home right away. The apartment is lovely and furnished with care, and there was nothing at all to complain about.

She makes people staying in her holiday apartment feel like intruders in her home.
