Melvi Hotel Goeppingen

I paid for two nights, but the room smelled so bad and the summer heat was miserable without even a fan, let alone air conditioning. The Wi-Fi kept glitching too, so I left for a better hotel after the first night. Nobody asked why I was checking out early, and I won’t be back. The establishment’s reply mentions a phone conversation that never happened. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they’ve mixed me up with another guest.

The staff members I spoke with were friendly, and the room was fairly clean. But the breakfast I paid for was awful. I stayed four nights at Melvi hotel and gave up eating breakfast there after two days, so I had to spend extra money on food elsewhere. When I complained, management emailed to say there hadn’t been a food shortage on the second day. They had acknowledged a shortage on the first day of my stay, Fri 15th Sept 2023, so that response felt insulting. A horrible experience. Darnell

We had a great stay here with our animal. The rooms were large and clean, the location was quiet, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was good too. For the price, it was incredible value, and the place exceeded my expectations.

We booked this for one night at the last minute on our way home, just to recharge before the final leg the next day. It was the cheapest option we found nearby online, but the hotel was a really pleasant surprise. There’s parking right in front, and the receptionist was friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. Since we arrived late, they explained the room, breakfast, and how to order food nearby. The room was spacious, tidy, and spotless, with a large flat-screen TV, a clean bathroom, and a safe. Really impressive for a *** hotel. We’d definitely book again on our way back to England.
