The restaurant is a good deal for the quality, and we didn't find anything nearby that matched it for the price. There's also a butcher and an organic market close by, handy for picking up a snack before a hike, plus an Edeka supermarket within easy walking distance. We stayed two days. The service was good, everything was clean, and the Black Forest decor gave the place a nice feel. The view is amazing, and I doubt there's another nearby place with one like it. It's a great base for hiking and skiing. The bathroom could use a renovation, though everything worked fine. The TV was pretty small and old, but not really needed. Wi-Fi is available in the village through a partnership, which I appreciated. We thought the price was very good for what we got, and we'd stay again.
