Absolutely awful. There was no service or help, and the building was in poor condition. I stayed in 2024 and regretted it. The bed was so bad I couldn't sleep, and I felt unwell after eating the food. It was noisy, hot, small, and smelly. The only good thing was Goslar itself, which has nothing to do with the hotel. Simba, never go there, as they say in The Lion King.

I felt completely at ease leaving my rental car in the hotel's parking area. It costs a little extra per day, but the space is secure behind a large iron gate that closes at night, and your room key card opens it whenever you need access. Being close enough to walk into town also made dinner easy, with lots of restaurants to choose from. Even if we'd tried too many of the alcoholic drinks, the car was safely parked back at the hotel. The staff looked after us well and were very nice. Our room was clean, comfortable, and functional, and the bed was good. The hotel is near the centre but the room was quiet. Breakfast is free, with everything we needed and plenty of seating. Hote Die Tanne is a great place to stay in Goslar or around the Harz. I had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Nothing special about the breakfast, but there was enough to get the day started. The rooms were okay too. We only got two small shampoo bottles for three nights, so remember to bring your own. An ordinary, okay hotel.

A welcoming family-run hotel in central Goslar, with great owners and staff. They have a locked parking area for guests travelling by motorcycle or bicycle. I'd gladly stay here again.
