After I rang the bell, a wonderful lady came to welcome me. Her English wasn’t very good, but we still connected in a really pleasant way. This quaint hotel can be hard to find if you aren’t looking for it, and the trust and welcoming atmosphere meant a lot to me. I’m grateful I stopped here on my journey.

The room was spacious and nice, and the Christmas market is very close by. The location is central.

Mrs. Schmitz was a wonderful host, and everything on the property had what we needed. Our room was even bigger than expected. It’s a charming guesthouse in a very central spot. We only stayed one night, unfortunately, but I’d definitely return.

We were warmly welcomed at the Schmitz guesthouse, which has a lovely, family-like atmosphere. The place is spread out, and only partly accessible for wheelchair users. Bring enough cash, since cards aren’t accepted. We always enjoy coming back. 😁👍

Mrs. Schmitz is the heart of Gästehaus Schmitz. She makes you feel at ease as soon as she welcomes you, and even gave us a great tip about the public parking lot next door. The rooms and apartments are beautifully furnished, and the location right on Goslar's market square is fantastic. I think the value for money is unbeatable in the area. Highly recommended!
