The glowing reviews led us here, and that turned out to be a mistake. The Covid hygiene rules weren’t followed, and the barbecue area had just two dirty grills. The whole place felt old-fashioned and mismatched. Getting to the bathroom meant going through a swinging door, and smells could spread through the room after someone used it. On the toilet, you could feel exposed because people outside could see in, and the window blinds didn’t cover enough. At €82 with breakfast, the price felt far too high for a B&B. For just €3 more, we could have booked a hotel room.

If you’re out all day and mainly need somewhere to sleep, it works fine. The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast was perfectly decent.

For what it costs, the hotel is acceptable, but it could do with renovation.
