Pension - Monteurzimmer Abspann

There weren't enough beds ready, even though we'd clearly communicated what was needed beforehand. The room also hadn't been cleaned properly, the bedding looked unwashed, and there was an unpleasant musty smell. The whole hotel, inside and out, looks run-down and doesn't feel comfortable. For the price and what we expected, that was completely unacceptable.

We booked two rooms, but had to switch one because there was mold in a corner. The guesthouse is beside an Indian restaurant, and the smell inside was strong too. The rooms were tiny and needed repairs, with thin walls. The mattresses were too wide for the beds, which had wooden boards instead of slatted frames. It was passable for one night, but we won't book there again.

The rooms themselves were okay, but hygiene was a real problem. The kitchen and its appliances were a disaster, sticky and filthy, and clearly hadn't been cleaned or updated in ages. I wish I'd known that before booking.

The staff were unfriendly, and the rooms smelled strongly of Indian food. Some beds were damaged, and you have to watch your head in the showers. I really can't recommend this guesthouse.
