Scrap metal and rubble cover parts of the grounds, and the annex has partly collapsed. The hotel is in the middle of renovation: much of the facade has been painted yellow and some doors replaced, but the rooms visible from outside, the restaurant, and the bar looked empty or unchanged. Several travel agencies say it’s due to reopen in January 2025. Looking at its current state, that seems impossible.

Our room was spacious and even came with a bathtub, and the price felt fair for what we got. Lunch was fine, with soup and salad, especially since there were several hot options in the evening. Breakfast was okay too, though I did miss having fresh vegetables. We’re satisfied. For the price, what’s provided is perfectly sufficient.

We stayed from August 19th to 23rd, 2020, and won’t vacation here again. The staff were the only truly positive part. The hotel is very dated, with a bathroom that looks stuck in the 70s and water stains on the walls. For €1200, I expected much more. It would be better to demolish the place than renovate it.

The accommodations aren’t somewhere to expect too much from, but the bed was clean and the shower water hot. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised. What really impressed me happened after we left: we’d forgotten our laundry hanging there and only realized a week later. I called, they sorted it out, and three days later our things arrived by mail, freshly washed and ironed. A huge thank you to the cleaning staff and hotel management!

The room, food, and hotel cleanliness were all good, but it didn’t work for the wellness break we’d planned. We aren’t very mobile and expected to use both the sauna and pool. The pool and its water weren’t heated for cost reasons, so we could only use the sauna and ended up leaving a day early. The Wi-Fi didn’t work either.
