We visited in the first week of January and got to see an amazing snowy landscape. There are plenty of places to explore nearby, but the farm is also a good choice if you’re after quiet, nature, and a chance to unwind. The owners, who live next door, are very friendly. You get a little house to yourselves, with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking when you don’t want to eat out.

It’s a separate house with lots of sleeping space and everything equipped. Set in the countryside and surrounded by nature, it’s peaceful, with many places to visit nearby. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Our dog had a great time too. A great place for families with kids.

The cottage suited us perfectly, and I didn’t mind the creaking, though I can see it bothering some people. The Friedrich family were so friendly that we felt right at home, and we’re sure to return. Thanks so much! The kids could help with the cows on the farm and run around and make noise. In a hotel we’d be reminding them to be quiet, but here they could just be kids, which meant peace and quiet for us too. We had a wonderful holiday with them.

Our children got to experience farm life, from helping milk the cows and feed the pigs to spending time with the horses. They were shown what to do and had things explained, and there was fresh milk and good conversation too. We had a lovely eleven-day holiday and felt very comfortable. The hosts were warm, helpful, and easygoing, and the holiday home was spacious, charming, and wonderfully quiet. From Grafenhausen, the Feldberg region is easy to reach by public transport or car. We’d love to come back. Thank you for a special stay!
