The rooms could use some renovation, and the WiFi is not great, though usable. The hotel has a good selection of cakes. The staff are very helpful when they're around, but they're gone in the evening because the hotel doesn't serve dinner. The other two dining places in town were full, so we had to drive to nearby towns to find food.

We stopped by mid-week for coffee and cake. The cakes were good, though I felt there was less choice than when we'd visited several years ago. I would've enjoyed it more if the service had been a little friendlier. There was just one other couple in the cafe when we arrived.

The breakfast was delicious, with fresh coffee, yoghurt, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, fresh bread and more. Our room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom, minibar and welcome drink. The staff gave us a warm welcome. It's a really lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Cows grazing right below your balcony is so awesome! The blankets are thick, so you can leave the windows open and sleep well in the fresh mountain air. Lovely place for your next holiday!

The bread rolls are heaven, and breakfast was lovely. It's a friendly, outstanding cafe. The rooms have a bit of a 70s feel, which I actually liked, and they lacked for nothing. As a walker, mine was perfect and really atmospheric. Nice place.

The cakes are fantastic, and the food is very good too. We ordered our wedding cake here, and it was absolutely amazing!
