The rooms were spotless, staff were friendly, and check-in and checkout were easy. The hotel is conveniently close to the city center, with free private parking nearby. The downsides were the small breakfast buffet, which could use healthier choices, and the lack of sound insulation between rooms. The Wi-Fi was completely useless. Only a few staff members spoke English.

My husband and I stay here whenever we visit Greifswald. We like how bright and clean the rooms are, and the beds are very comfortable. The sheets are always neat and tidy. There’s also a restaurant serving Italian and German food. Definitely recommend it!

The people working here are lovely, but I can’t give the place more than 2 stars. I’m hoping to travel regularly from Berlin to Greifswald for work and wanted somewhere I could use once or twice a month for a few days at a time. The Wi-Fi and breakfast were both deal-breakers. I never got my phone connected. Luckily I got my laptop online after going downstairs in my pajamas and sorting out a whole rigmarole with logins. One of the chefs had to unlock a cabinet and read me a list of numbers to enter. Breakfast was a letdown too, especially at an Italian restaurant run by Italians. I asked if I could have a proper Italian coffee, but was told no and sent to the thermos of drip coffee. That’s despite the gorgeous Italian coffee machine behind the bar and proper espresso drinks being available at dinner in the same restaurant. This place could be so much better.
