Moselromantik Hotel Weißmühle

The forest setting is lovely. We woke to birdsong, sunshine, and fresh forest air, and I’d recommend walking up the mountain alongside the creek. Very romantic. The rooms aren’t the best-looking and could be better maintained, but they were very clean, and the bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate. The food was so good, both at breakfast and dinner. Other restaurants could learn from them. The staff and owners were lovely and helpful. After one day, they remembered what we liked to drink at breakfast and set up the tables for us and our friends just as we’d sat the day before. They also gave us good tips about the area and helped with a few small travel problems. We’d tried some food nearby that was the worst, and they let us order anything from the menu just before the kitchen closed, even though we’d canceled that. Best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

We loved the food and appreciated the whole team. They’d prepared such a lovely breakfast table for my mother’s birthday. Thank you so much!

The service was good, and the staff were nice. It’s a pleasant, secluded spot in the woods, though not the best choice for kids, since the average guest age is over 60. The restaurant is good, but feels a bit posh and expensive given how isolated the hotel is. Our room seemed a little old, and the TV perched on top of the fridge looked ridiculous and potentially dangerous for children.

There are outdoor fish tanks with big fish, which were really interesting. It’s a great place surrounded by nature, about 1 km from the River Mosel. The rooms are nice, parking is right by the hotel, and the staff are nice too.
