Schlotzeria Hotel I Café I Eis

The breakfast is excellent. The hotel has been recently renovated and has good air conditioning. The hotel down the road manages the lobby and breakfast.

There was no internet available during our stay, even though my friend booked through an online platform after filtering for Wi-Fi as necessary. We asked another guest about it and they had the same issue. Management only showed up 10h later, saying there was an ISP issue, and didn't offer any compensation. The cleaning lady spoke loudly whenever she met you on the stairs, without considering that she might disturb other guests. My friend's bedroom wasn't cleaned during the stay, apparently because rooms were only done once a day. Remote management may be convenient when everything works, but when problems come up, it's good to have a friendly face to talk to. We never had that.

The room was large and very comfortable, and the toilet was very good. We liked almost everything, and the staff were friendly when we arrived. But nobody mentioned that the reception would be closed for an "early" checkout at 7.40 a.m. We had to walk to another nearby hotel to pay and leave the keys, and ended up missing our train.

A quiet place with tables outside as well as inside. The food, desserts, and coffee were good, and the panini was delicious, fresh, and a little crunchy.
