Strandfee Apt. 21 is quietly set at the end of Gorch-Fock-Weg, yet it's central, about a five-minute walk from the pier, the small town center, and Rewe/Aldi supermarkets. We felt very comfortable and highly recommend it. The furnishings are high quality, with the comfort of home, all the kitchen utensils, and a 45 cm dishwasher. The small garden-facing balcony has comfortable high-backed chairs with quality cushions and a table that's large enough. Keep food away from the seagulls, they're thieves! The mattress is brand new, and there's a washing machine and dryer in the basement. A complete wash costs €1.50. Bicycle racks are by the entrance, the Wi-Fi is flawless, and the TV screen is new.

The apartment had been double-booked, but nobody told us. Instead, we were put in a different apartment that, according to AVG, had no Wi-Fi and various defects. We were told we could move to the other apartment once it was fully renovated. Yesterday we found out it had already been rented to someone else, so we could no longer stay in Strandfee. We couldn't get hold of him and had to go to his workplace to speak to him. It was only from the AVG employee that we learned it was a double booking and we couldn't have moved into the Strandfee apartment in the first place. We left early! 🤯
