It was peaceful at the hotel, and the room was generous in size, including a good-sized bathroom. Breakfast was fine and met what I expected. The pillows were much too soft, though. I ended up folding two together to get enough support.

Jacob, who works in Germany, was patient and genuinely kind while helping me arrange my hotel booking. He answered every question promptly and professionally, went out of his way to secure my room, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. That level of customer service is rare. Thank you, Jacob, for all your help!

The scenery around Hotel Jakob is glorious, and the food was really good. Our room was excellent, with a lovely balcony, and the staff were great. It's a splendid hotel on the outskirts of Groß-Umstadt, with plenty to love and well worth a visit.

The room was impressively clean and very comfortable, and parking was free. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant after a friendly, helpful staff member checked us in. Breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, and the breakfast staff were polite and helpful too. We easily found staff who spoke English, which helped us a lot and was much appreciated. I can't say enough good things, and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a quiet, lovely stay. The room was clean and had a nice view, and the friendly staff gave us useful information. It was good to see hygiene being taken seriously, and breakfast offered plenty of choices. A good option if you're in the area. One small warning: there are sheep outside the windows, so you may hear a "baa" now and then at night. :)
