Gruendauer Schlafstub

Everything was great. This is the best place in the area, and I recommend it.

Just perfect!

Having ponies outside was a small bright spot for me. I love horses, and seeing them every day made a stressful few weeks feel warmer. I stayed at Gründauer Schlafstub for almost two weeks while Oberyna was having treatment at Equinox, and it was exactly the kind of place I needed. The owner arranged a fuss-free late-night check-in when we arrived, and was helpful throughout. The room was colourful, comfortable enough to really live in, and had everything I needed, including a fridge and a good shower once I figured it out. The bed was comfy, too. The cat stayed calm the whole time, which says something about how peaceful and quiet the place is. It’s five minutes from the bus stop and close to Equinox and Gelnhausen, and booking was easy. The best place I stayed all year.

We booked the accommodation for our son for week-long stretches while he attended block release courses. Its location near the vocational school was handy. In every room he stayed in, the kitchenette was well equipped, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The rooms were very nice and well maintained, and the landlord was friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend it.
