Landhotel Weingold Guntersblum

We loved how central it was for getting around Rheinhessen, and the food was delicious. Our spotless room had everything we needed, while the staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. We found the Weingold had everything we look for on a holiday. A must visit.

The breakfast was delicious, and the grape juice is worth trying. We had a great weekend at Weingold with friends, mountain biking just after the Covid lockdown. Since we were the only guests, Dirk and Stefanie could give us their full attention. They're about the most genuine and lovely hosts you could imagine. They'd worked in Australia for years before running the hotel, and with two Aussies among us, we spent a fun time swapping stories in the relaxed atmosphere. I really liked all the thoughtful details. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, the Weingold soap is actually made from wine, and the interior has its own charming look. There are open courtyard spaces and indoor spots to sit. I also noticed the fresh flower arrangements and how the wine theme runs through the hotel, right down to lampshades made from wine bottles. It's great value, with delicious German food, wine and beer, and super friendly service. We're definitely going back.

The food was delicious, and the wine was dreamlike. This is an amazing country hotel, with friendly, thoughtful staff and stylish, very clean rooms. Everything is held to a really high standard.
