Ferienhof Barthel

The hosts were so friendly, and the kids had a little paradise with the trampoline, ride-on toys, and more. We spent two weeks at Bathel's farm in August. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed. Thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay over Pentecost 2022 and felt very welcome. The Barthel family were kind and polite, and their homemade jam was delicious. A restaurant sits diagonally opposite the farm, and both the lake and shopping are easy to reach. Our apartment was comfortable, nicely furnished, and had relaxing beds. The clean bathroom had been newly renovated, and they provided a travel cot for my 9-month-old baby. My 2½-year-old son especially loved the animals and the huge range of ride-on toys. There were books and board games for all ages, too. We were out and about a lot, but still had plenty of room to unwind back at the farm. There's a common room and a large covered area for sitting together. A gate keeps the play area enclosed so children can jump around freely. The playground, ping-pong table, and trampoline were also great. The farm is in a small, beautiful village on the Büchelberg.

There are goats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and cats on the farm, which is great for kids, and there's lots of toys around. The rooms are clean and practical, with parking right outside the house. They also bring bread rolls, and on Mondays the owner puts on a barbecue for all the guests. We'd love to come back.

The hospitality was wonderful, and there was even a barbecue with all the guests and the farm family. The apartments and rooms are clean, well kept, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our holiday. There's plenty for every age: petting animals, table tennis, go-karts, a sandpit, a trampoline, and lots more. A fantastic idea for a holiday apartment. We'll definitely be back!
